MissionBuild Partners is hiring 6–10 Electrical & Fiber Technician Trainees for paid, hands-on job site work in Louisville, KY.
This is a strong opportunity for someone interested in electrical work, low-voltage work, fiber, construction technology, or skilled trades. Candidates do not need to be highly experienced, but prior electrical, low-voltage, fiber, construction, tool, or field experience can help qualify for higher starting pay.
Starting pay is $18–$24 per hour depending on experience.
The position will begin training within the next 1–2 weeks. Work will start at approximately 30–40 hours per week, with guaranteed work available through November. Reliable candidates may also have opportunities for future job site work across Kentucky.
Selected candidates will learn directly from an experienced master electrician and fiber technician while gaining real field experience.
Ideal Candidates Should Be
Reliable and ready to work
Interested in electrical, fiber, low-voltage, or construction trade work
Coachable and willing to learn on the job
Comfortable working with tools and active job sites
Able to show up consistently for 30–40 hours per week
Interested in long-term growth in the trades
Helpful Experience Includes
Electrical helper experience
Fiber or low-voltage experience
Construction or renovation experience
Basic hand tool or power tool experience
Trade school, apprenticeship, Job Corps, workforce training, or similar hands-on training
