Louisville Speech Spot is seeking a speech-language pathologist (SLP) to deliver high-quality assessment and therapy services to pediatric clients. Services are provided in the child’s home, daycare, or private school. At Louisville Speech Spot, our mission is to help children develop functional communication skills that enhance their ability to participate confidently in daily life. In order to prioritize both client outcomes and clinician well-being, Louisville Speech Spot provides a small, manageable caseload.
Schedule: part-time (approximately 28 hours/week), four days per week
Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluate and treat a variety of communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address the client’s needs
- Implement treatment plans through engaging, weekly therapy sessions
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, sessions, and progress
- Educate clients and their families on techniques to support carry-over
- Communicate professionally with families, schools, and other professionals as appropriate
Qualifications and Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders or related field
- Current Kentucky SLP Licensure
- Strong knowledge in assessment tools, therapy techniques, and best practices
- Reliable car for transportation to sessions
- Personal computer for documentation
Compensation: $40/hour
Pay: $40.00 per hour
