Position Overview
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and maintaining staff schedules to ensure our residents receive safe, consistent, and high-quality care. This role plays a key part in supporting our team and keeping daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, adjust, and maintain accurate staff schedules based on facility needs
Communicate staffing updates through email, text, and phone
Monitor staffing levels to support both resident care and budget goals
Collaborate closely with department leaders and team members
Utilize scheduling platforms (ex: OnShift)
Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Scheduling or staffing experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Previous long-term care or healthcare scheduling experience is a plus
