What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant (Training Provided) – Full Time with Benefits position at Louisville Foot & Ankle Specialists?
Louisville Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. Prior Medical Assistant certification is not required. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a fast-paced medical office.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain medical histories
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist physicians during office procedures
- Clean and stock exam rooms
- Sterilize instruments
- Document information accurately in the electronic medical record
- Travel occasionally to our satellite office locations if interested/available to do so (Elizabethtown KY, Jeffersonville IN)
- Extend professionalism and exceptional customer service to every patient
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Healthcare experience is a plus but not required

- Starting pay: $18-20/hour depending on experience
