Schedule is Monday through Friday 8-5
Weekends off and paid holidays.
Duties
- Perform wheel alignments on a variety of vehicle makes and models using specialized alignment equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment to adjust suspension components and ensure proper alignment angles.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues related to suspension, steering, and wheel alignment.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, brake checks, and other auto service procedures.
- Lift heavy vehicles or components safely using appropriate lifting equipment to facilitate alignment procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of all alignment work performed, including measurements and adjustments made.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of services while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or auto body repair is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment is essential.
- Prior mechanic experience or background in vehicle maintenance enhances your suitability for this role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during vehicle servicing tasks.
- Knowledge of auto restoration processes and suspension systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in alignment measurements and adjustments.
