Job Summary
As a frontline employee, Teller will provide exceptional customer service while processing transactions. Each day, Teller will serve customers in a friendly and professional manner that aligns with our brand promise, vision, and mission statement. Teller will accurately process customer transactions and maintain a quality record related to balancing and errors. Teller will contribute to a positive and productive work environment. Teller will have a full understanding of LNB’s product and service offerings and take advantage of cross-selling opportunities based on customer behavior.
Essential Duties
· Deliver an uncommon customer experience with every interaction
· Fully understand and adhere to Teller Policy
· Maintain healthy record related to balancing and accuracy
· Accurately process customer transactions including but not limited to:
o Cash checks
o Withdraw cash
o Deposit cash and/or checks
o Process loan payments
o Process change orders
o Conduct account transfers
o Check customer balances
o Issue official checks and gift cards
· Understand criteria for negotiating checks
· Identify counterfeit currency and fraudulent checks
· Field and address phone calls
· Understand how to conduct account and transaction research
· Properly identify customers and non-customers
· Balance cash drawer daily
· Investigate and resolve outages
· Maintain a secure cash drawer and meet cash handling standards
· Keep drawer balance within established policy limits
· Accurately prepare and process tickets
· Capture all work using branch capture
· Under dual control, process Night Drop transactions as assigned
· Field and distribute mail and deliveries when applicable
· Assist customers in accessing safe deposit boxes
· Maintain a working knowledge of all bank products and services
· Understand and adhere to disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies
· Maintain compliance under requirements of BSA Program, AML, OFAC, and CIP related policies
· Understand CTR Requirements and complete CTR information when applicable
· Accurately provide deposit rates to inquiring customers
· Recognize and report any BSA red flags using our internal SAR form
· Understand the basics of ordering checks and troubleshooting online banking
· Contribute to a positive and productive work environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· High School Diploma or GED required; exceptions may be made
· Must have at least one year of prior customer service experience
· Cash handling experience is a plus
· Must be able to travel to different LNB locations as needed
· Must have a valid and unencumbered Driver’s License
· Must have reliable transportation to report to work during scheduled hours
· The ability to:

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
· Works under the general supervision of VP, Retail Banking and/or Team Lead.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· This position operates in a professional office environment.
· This is a part-time position (schedule changes based on staffing needs).
· Employee must be available to work until 6:00 PM CST on weekdays and 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM CST on Saturdays.
· Travel may be required.
