Candidate profile
· Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a related field.
· Ideally 0-3 years of work experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
· Comfortable spending time in a manufacturing environment
· Curious by nature
· Can work with minimal direction as needed
Job responsibilities
· Lead or participate in CI initiatives aimed at improving bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or defects
· Provide routine analysis and reports of production data
· Develop and improve manufacturing processes and workflows
· Assist with the selection, installation, and commissioning of new machinery or automation systems
· Lead and assist with layouts for work stations, equipment installations, and production lines
· Work closely with quality, supply chain, marketing, and maintenance teams
· Provide input for Design for Manufacturability of new products prior to release
· Participate in new product introduction or launch readiness
· Maintain data collection system
