THE OPPORTUNITY
We are searching for a SERVICE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR to join our growing operations team at Louisiana CAT. This position will cover the Southwest Louisiana territory working out of our Lafayette location.
YOU
The Service Operation Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and hands on support to the branch(s) within Louisiana CAT. The Service Operation Coordinator also consults, train and makes strategic recommendations to the branch(s) to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
- Trains Louisiana Cat Service Manager(s), Coordinator(s) and Technicians how to open and close jobs properly from start to finish
- Assure Service Manager(s) and Coordinator(s) drive consistencies throughout the branch(s)
- Audits open and closed jobs
- Monitor work in progress and effectively communicate any necessary changes to branch management
- Convey information between service, parts and technicians efficiently to drive continuous improvement
- Audit facility 5S, contamination control and safety requirements within the branch(s)
- Maintains branch graphs and charts to ensure continuous improvement
- Review process instructions and procedures for compliance

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS
- REQUIRED: Must be agile and prioritize standard work, meet deadlines and provide accurate reporting & documentation
- REQUIRED: Strong computer skills including MS Office such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and Inventory software platforms
- REQUIRED: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and other employees of the organization in a professional manner
- HIGHLY PREFERRED: Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
- PREFERRED: Bachelor's Degree in related field
JOB FACTS
- SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday from 7am – 5:30pm; you will be available some Saturdays if required
- TRAVEL: May required up to 25% travel
- Will require physical movement as listed in the job description
