Louisiana Bridge Builders (“LBB”) is designing and building the new I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge in Lake Charles, Louisiana (USA) for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD). LBB will also be responsible for the reconstruction of interstate highway, various structures, ramps, and approaches for a 5.5 mile stretch between I-210 West End and Ryan Street.

The Equipment Manager is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by overseeing the overall management, maintenance, and operation of all construction equipment using a proactive approach to equipment management, ensuring that all machinery is in optimal working condition to support project timelines and safety standards.
LOCATIONThis position is based in Lake Charles, LA.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAt a minimum, the Equipment Manager must have a bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering or related field of study along with at least 10 years of related equipment logistics experience in the construction industry, proven knowledge of construction equipment, maintenance practices, and safety regulations, proficient with inventory management software and tools, and a valid and current driver’s license OR a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 14 years of related equipment logistic experience in the construction industry, proven knowledge of construction equipment, maintenance practices, and safety regulations, proficient with inventory management software and tools, and a valid and current driver’s license. Certification in Equipment Management is preferred.
