The Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts is currently interviewing for the part time position of Drama Instructor.
Our drama and musical theater program continues to grow and we are seeking talented, motivated, and qualified specialists in theater who enjoy working with kids, teens, and adults. LAAPA offers flexible schedules, performance opportunities, and a stimulating work environment.
Salary:
Commensurate with certifications and experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts with concentration in theater, musical theater, film or equivalent certifications or professional experience.
- Ability to conduct weekly group classes, arrange lesson plans, and prepare students for 2 shows each year.
- Ability to lead improvisation workshops
- Outgoing personality
- Ability to make each class fun and enjoyable.
