Role Description
Louis Tommasino CPA and Associates is seeking a staff accountant and tax preparer for our San Diego (University City) office. The position is full-time (40 hours - and 50 hours during peak seasons). Compensation: $75,000 base salary plus performance-based bonuses. On-target earnings (OTE) of $100,000 depending on billings and experience.

Desired Skills and Experience
- 4 years tax preparation experience using Lacerte
- CPA or Enrolled agent (EA) certification minimum requirement
- Experience with individual, corporate, partnership, and trust/estate tax returns.
- Ability to discuss tax planning and tax minimization strategies with client developing into a trusted advisor role.
- Ability to review financial statements with client advisory and knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software
- Ability to organize and prioritize client projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a client-service team
