Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Podiatrist located in New Windsor, NY. The Podiatrist will diagnose and treat conditions related to the feet and ankles, including biomechanical issues, orthotic needs, and managing complications caused by chronic conditions such as diabetes. Responsibilities include conducting medical assessments, developing treatment plans, performing minor surgical procedures, and educating patients on preventive care and rehabilitation strategies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Podiatry and Medicine, with a strong understanding of foot and ankle care
- Expertise in Biomechanics and Orthotics for diagnosing and treating physical conditions
- Experience treating diabetic foot conditions and other related complications
- A Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree and a valid state podiatry license
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and patient care skills
- Commitment to staying updated on new methods, treatments, and technologies in podiatry
