Role Description The Producer is a full-time, hybrid role based out of our Gainesville, GA or Greenville, NC office. In this position, the Producer builds and maintains a portfolio of commercial and transportation insurance clients, identifying prospects, conducting needs assessments, and presenting tailored coverage solutions. Daily responsibilities include managing the sales cycle, preparing proposals, coordinating with underwriting and service teams, and following up to ensure timely quoting, binding, and servicing of policies. The Producer regularly meets with clients and prospects, in person and virtually, to provide ongoing risk management advice and ensure coverage remains aligned with evolving business needs. The role also involves tracking activity in a CRM or agency management system, staying current on industry trends and carrier offerings, and contributing to a positive, client-focused team culture.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex insurance and risk management concepts in clear, accessible terms.
- Proficiency in prospecting, lead generation, and consultative selling, with a focus on long-term client partnerships rather than transactional sales.
