What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Restaurant Host position at Louie Linguini's?
Louie Linguini's Restaurant is looking to hire hosts for weekend and weekday shifts. We are looking for people who are energetic, responsible, and welcome to work in a team-oriented environment. Our hosts help maintain the pace and organization of the restaurant, attend to the needs of our guests, and also assist with marketing and sales via our chowder samples cart near our front entrance stairs. Hosts receive tip-outs from other staff and have at the ability to make additional tips with sales via our chowder cart. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, friendly, and sincere with our potential customers and customers who dine with us.
All employees receive 50% off employee meals, 50% off meals at our other company-affiliated restaurant Monterey Bay Creamery (located on Fisherman's Wharf), and 40% off at our Monterey retail locations After The Quake and Only In Monterey, both located on Cannery Row.
As a condition of employment, our company's policy is to require employees to consent to electronic delivery of disclosures and documents and to agree to digital signatures. This is an effort for general paperless practices and efficiency, for costs and conservation, etc.
All paperwork and electronic signatures will be time-stamped. To electronically receive, view and save or print the disclosures, you must have a computer equipped with a compatible web browser. Employees may also schedule a time with their managers to access their records using company computers.
