Our Client is a medium size law firm in White Plains and they are looking for an Attorney - Municipal & Land Use. The salary for this role is $100-130K. You will provide specialized legal services focusing on municipal regulations, land development, and zoning laws. This role supports local government entities and private clients in navigating complex land use issues, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and ordinances, and assisting in the preparation of legal documents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research relevant to municipal and land use matters
- Draft and review agreements pertaining to land use and municipal projects
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Advise clients on municipal codes and land use regulations
- Support litigation related to municipal and zoning disputes
- Interpret and apply municipal codes and ordinances accurately
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing in municipal and land use law
- You must of your Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and have admission to the NYS bar
