The position involves performing routine work in the operations and maintenance of water and sewer collection and distribution facilities. Responsibilities include assisting in the installation and repair of pumps, valves, comminutor grinders, and motors. Also, perform semiskilled preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on pumps, pressure regulating and level control valves, generators, piping, meters, comminutors, and valves.
The individual will also operate and utilize various technical and mechanical equipment, including SCADA systems, flushing equipment, pump alignment tools, and landscape maintenance equipment. Furthermore, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facilities involved in water and sewer utility operations
Requirements: Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and have a high school diploma or GED. Basic mechanical experience is preferred. This role involves working outdoors and performing labor-intensive tasks. Candidates must be available for on-call status and willing to work overtime as needed to fulfill job responsibilities. This position is classified as essential personnel.
Salary Range: $57,600 - $70,400 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Position will remain open until filled. EOE
