Position Overview

As a Veterinary Assistant at Loudoun Veterinary Service, you’ll be an essential part of our team. Your role will include direct patient care, anesthesia monitoring, and assisting with a variety of surgical procedures. We’re looking for an assistant who enjoys a mix of surgery, and client interaction.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 1–2 years of veterinary experience preferred
• Reliable with minimal callouts
• Surgery trained preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
• Experienced with blood draws and lab equipment
• Comfortable safely restraining both cats and dogs
• Cross-trained or willing to cross-train (plus)
• Professional, team-oriented, and drama-free
• Eager to learn, grow, and expand skills

• Monday–Thursday: 8 AM – 6 PM
• Friday: 8 AM – 5 PM
