Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Virginia, seeks an experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee and coordinate the delivery of patient care in a busy, specialty practice in Leesburg, VA.
This position requires strong administration and leadership skills.
Primary duties include:
- Oversee front and back-office operations to ensure efficient and professional patient care.
- Supervise and support staff, including front desk, medical assistants, and technicians.
- Manage staff scheduling, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership to improve workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and office policies.
- Monitor and manage billing processes, authorizations, and insurance verifications in coordination
- with billing staff.
- Maintain office inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships.
- Assist with onboarding and training new staff members.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner.
- Track and report key performance metrics to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3–5 years of medical office management experience, preferably in a cardiology or specialty setting.
- Strong understanding of clinical operations and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems (knowledge of [Pulse, Athena] a plus).
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and team-building abilities.
Strong candidates will have the ability to master administrative duties and manage projects from start to finish with a high level of independence.
