Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Northern Virginia, has an employment opportunity for an experienced medical assistant to support a busy podiatry practice in Gainesville, VA.
General Medical Assistant responsibilities include:
- Assisting Physician with clinical procedures
- Obtaining patient vital signs & medical history
- Assisting physician with general patient care and medical coding
- Cleaning and stocking exam rooms
- Ordering supplies
- Assisting at the front desk
- Scheduling appointments; placing reminder calls
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Degree
- 1 year of experience as a medical assistant
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills
- Medical terminology
- Must have strong clinical skills
- Must be able to work independently and on a team
- Must have problem solving skills
- EMR experience preferred (ECW)
- Professional demeanor
