About the Position
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position that involves hands-on work with computer hardware, software, and network systems in both in-house and field environments.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical and mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair computer hardware and software systems
- Conduct field service visits to client locations to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Follow schematics and diagrams to ensure proper installation and configuration of equipment
- Perform cabling and wiring installations for network connectivity
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs as needed
- Troubleshoot software issues and perform updates or new installations
- Ensure compliance with low voltage and electrical safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a field technician or similar technical support role preferred
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams for equipment installation
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment repair and maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment as needed
Security Clearance Requirement
All applicants must be able to qualify for and maintain a Security Clearance. This is a condition of employment.
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $75,000 Based on Experience and Knowledge
