The Intermediate Accountant at LOUD Audio, LLC (“LOUD”) partners closely with the Accounting Manager and is responsible for performing a variety of mid-level accounting functions with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, and compliance-related filings. This role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, supports month-end and year-end close processes, and maintains adherence to regulatory requirements, including sales and use tax filings. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Issue and track credit memos, ensuring proper documentation and accurate recording.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and timely payment processing.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns in accordance with applicable state and local regulations.
- Perform commission calculations aligned with sales programs to ensure accuracy of payments.
- Process and reconcile payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
- Work closely with Accounting and Sales teams to drive improvement and efficiency throughout the Cash Conversion Cycle.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Support ad hoc projects and other accounting-related tasks as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, and tax compliance.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems preferred.
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Demonstrated success working both independently and on a team.
- Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities and does not have direct reports.
Work Environment: This role operates in a fast-paced, in-office environment with moderate noise levels and may require extended hours, early or late meetings, and occasional travel. The position involves extended periods of sitting, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, and standard office mobility. It also requires vision, dexterity, clear communication, and mental stamina for problem-solving and task prioritization. Reasonable accommodations are available.

Salary & Benefits: This is a full-time, exempt position starting at $85,000/year based on experience. LOUD Audio offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) match, 15 days of paid time off accrued in the first year, 10 paid holidays, and up to 2 floating holidays.
