Job Description
The Lead Cabinetry & Millwork Installer will be responsible for managing and performing the on-site installation of high-end custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, paneling, doors, countertops, and specialty woodwork. This role requires a strong ability to read and execute detailed shop drawings, and a commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer service.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled installer with experience leading crews, solving field issues independently, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform on-site installation of custom cabinetry and architectural millwork
- Read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, and field measurements
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet company quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in the field
- Communicate professionally with project managers, contractors, and clients
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
- Inspect materials and installations for quality and accuracy
- Coordinate delivery, handling, and protection of finished products
- Occasionally assist in the shop with fabrication, assembly, and pre-install preparation
- Travel to job sites throughout Philadelphia and surrounding counties
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience installing high-end cabinetry and architectural millwork
- Previous experience leading installation crews preferred
- Strong understanding of cabinetry construction, installation techniques, and finish protection
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural plans
- High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Proficient with installation tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
