Responsibilities
- Semiconductor tool install ramp programs require a structured, data-driven approach integrating design, construction, and qualification to achieve rapid, reliable production. Key elements include early tool manufacturer engagement, rigorous quality controls (QA/QC), and detailed site planning—such as pre-facilitation (Prefac), hook-up, and safety sign-off (SL1)—to ensure high yields and minimize downtime during expansion.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across design, construction, qualification, and production phases to ensure quality objectives are met throughout the tool install project lifecycle.
- Develop and enhance quality assurance processes focused on prevention and early detection of issues.
- Lead stakeholders through structured continuous improvement initiatives to drive fact-based decision-making and achieve right-first-time quality.
- Facilitate resolution of quality issues, identify improvement opportunities, and coordinate corrective actions across all project functions.
- Drive and implement measurable quality improvements to prevent defects during design, construction, and qualification phases to prevent revenue loss.
- Collect, analyze, and report on quality-related data, including process metrics and KPIs, to identify trends and track improvement initiatives.
- Lead and support root cause analysis efforts using methodologies such as 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams.
- Ensure alignment of quality standards and processes across all stakeholders and project teams.
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and project management in semiconductor tool install/ramp program management, with demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and driving change.
- Strong project management and change management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and functions.
- Highly motivated with a positive, results-oriented attitude.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required).
- Lean methodologies (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
