Calibration Test Technician

Lotus Technical has a 12-month contract role for an Calibration Test Technician for our client, a medical device manufacturing company located in Plano, TX. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder. Must be local to the TX area. Sorry, no relocations. Position is contingent on criminal background, education and employment verification, and drug test.
DUTIES
Performing beginning calibration activities.
Basic mechanical, pressure equipment verification to support internal customers.
Potential to run some automated system calibrations.
Working in the calibration lab, some data entry duties.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent work experience in a related field. (Master degree may be overqualified) Associate degree will be considered with experience.
1-2 years of experience Testing of equipment, Test Tech of equipment, analysis work, scientific notation, unit conversions (measurements).
Computer experience with Excel.
Read and follow written instructions.
Inquisitive and eager to learn.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work as a team member.
Preferred Experience: Some experience working with testing, quality, Knowledge of Multimeters, Calipers is a plus.
Lab experience is plus.
Medical device experience would be ideal but not required.
Must be US Citizen, or Green Card Holder.
Must be local to the TX area, Sorry no relocations.
