Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring the accuracy of all financial exchanges.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and ensure all supplies are stocked.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation and positive customer experience.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is a plus.
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
