Moisture & Drainage Installation Specialist

Overview

Lotus Pest Control is seeking a skilled Installer to implement moisture control and drainage solutions. You will be responsible for the hands-on installation of systems designed to protect structures from water damage, fungus, and humidity.

Compensation

$20 - $25 / hr

Responsibilities

• Vapor Barrier Installation: Install moisture barriers (e.g., 10 Mil or 12 Mil liners) in crawlspaces, ensuring proper attachment to walls and piers (minimum 6-inch wrap).
• Sump Pump Systems: Install and maintain sump pump systems, including necessary plumbing with PVC pipe and fittings to ensure efficient water removal.
• French Drains: Dig and install French drains or other exterior/interior drainage systems to divert water away from foundations.
• Dehumidification: Install and set up professional-grade dehumidifiers and fresh air intake systems to regulate humidity levels.
• Insulation: Perform insulation removal and installation (crawlspaces and attics), including the application of attic caps.
  
  

Qualifications

• Technical Experience: Prior experience in construction, waterproofing, or HVAC principles is preferred.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency with hand and power tools, including drilling and tapping materials like plastic or stainless steel.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in confined, damp, or low-clearance spaces (crawlspaces/attics) and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Reliability: Punctuality and a strong teamwork attitude are essential for completing complex installation projects.

Working between Springfield/Joplin, MO metro and Bentonville/Fort Smith metro areas dependent on work sold.
