What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor position at Lotus Recovery?
We operate a structured, ASAM Level 3.1 clinically managed low-intensity residential recovery program dedicated to empowering adults on their journey to sustained recovery. We provide a safe, supportive living environment and clinical interventions that guide individuals toward a healthier, independent future. The role we are seeking an empathetic and dedicated Licensed Clinician to join our treatment team. In this role, you will help residents navigate their substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders using evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities:
- Assessments & Plans: Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans (ISP) alongside residents.
- Therapeutic Services: Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions (minimum of 5 clinical hours per week per resident).
- Monitoring: Identify early signs and symptoms of psychiatric decompensation and coordinate with medical and psychiatric providers as needed.
- Case Management: Assist residents in connecting with community resources, step-down care, and aftercare planning.
- Documentation: Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical records within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- License Required: Fully licensed in West Virginia as an LICSW, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in substance use disorder (SUD) or behavioral health treatment.
- ASAM Knowledge: Working understanding of the ASAM criteria and multidimensional assessment processes.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
