No previous medical assistant experience or certification is required.
What You'll Learn to Do
As part of your training, you'll learn how to:
- Welcome and room patients
- Communicate with patients in both English and Spanish
- Document medical information in our electronic medical record system
- Assist physicians during exams and procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments
- Schedule appointments and procedures
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment.
- Help ensure every patient has an outstanding experience
Bilingual Requirement
Conversational fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
You'll help English- and Spanish-speaking patients by:
- Explaining procedures and instructions
- Gathering medical history
- Communicating follow-up information
- Helping patients feel comfortable and cared for
A brief bilingual communication assessment will be included during the interview.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 7:45 AM–4:30 PM
- 30-minute lunch
- Primarily based in Brooksville and Spring Hill
- Occasional coverage in Crystal River is appreciated
- Overtime opportunities available after training
Commitment
Because we invest significant time in training, we're looking for someone interested in building a long-term career with us. A minimum one-year commitment is required.
