Full Time Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and prenatal massage tailored to each client’s needs
• Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety during sessions
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment options, and provide guidance on post-massage care
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment area in compliance with health and safety standards
• Document client sessions accurately and securely in accordance with privacy regulations
• Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy techniques and physiology knowledge to enhance service quality
• Promote a welcoming atmosphere that emphasizes patient service excellence and fosters client loyalty

Requirements

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with current CPR certification
• Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage and prenatal massage
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology to assess patient needs effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pain management and occupational health
• Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and adapt treatments accordingly
• Prior experience working in med spa settings or occupational health environments is preferred but not required
• Commitment to maintaining professional standards of hygiene and confidentiality

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
