Lotus Care LLC is recruiting a Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team of independent living skills / In-Home Support services
Requirement: Staff will need to be experienced working with high behaviors clients. Background in Mental health education or certification is required to successfully perform this job.
Starting Pay: $24 per hour (based on experience)
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds or less
- Ability to walk and run up to 2 miles.
- Ability to sustain great energy towards the whole shift.
- Ability to be quick on your feet - to prevent elopement.
shifts : 7am-3pm-FT & 3pm-9pm-PM & weekend
Location: - Hopkins, MN
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities preferred.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Ability to handle high magnitude behavior
- Ability to de-escalate intensive physical aggression and property destruction.
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement strategies effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collect data accurately and maintain detailed records.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and ability to take vital signs if required.
- Familiarity with special education practices and principles is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Job Type: FT 7a-3pm & 3pm-9pm PT & e/o weekend

Bachelor in Mental health education or Mental Health certification
Must have a reliable transportation
