Referral Development & Admissions Conversion (50%):
- Proactively generate qualified referrals: of adolescents (ages 13–17) with primary substance use diagnoses and commercial insurance (e.g., BCBS, United, Cigna, Aetna, Oscar, Tricare).
- Achieve monthly performance targets of:
- 20–30 qualified referrals:
- 5 admissions: directly attributed to outreach efforts
- Track referral outcomes and collaborate closely with admissions staff to ensure seamless intake.
- Maintain strong understanding of program offerings, insurance contracts, and admission criteria.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with a wide network of providers, hospitals, schools, and agencies.
- Conduct regular outreach including in-person meetings, virtual presentations, lunch-and-learns, and follow-up calls.
- Maintain a regular cadence of 20 meaningful contacts: per month with current and prospective referral sources.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and referral partners.
- Accurately log all outreach activity, referral details, and partner communications in the CRM system within 48 hours.
- Maintain up-to-date records for tracking relationship history, referral source trends, and conversion metrics.
- Participate in weekly admissions and marketing huddles to report progress and align on strategy.
- Support strategic planning through trend identification and data-informed recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Behavioral Health, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, outreach, or admissions—preferably in behavioral health or healthcare
- Proven success in referral generation and sales-oriented relationship development
- Strong understanding of substance use disorders, adolescent treatment models, and insurance-based care
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Kipu, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel regionally throughout Florida up to 50% of the time
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a clear drive for results
- Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable in documentation and follow-through
- Skilled at building trust quickly and managing long-term partnerships
