Lotus BHRS Inc. is seeking a Clinical Director with strong behavioral health operations experience who can step in immediately and lead a multidisciplinary team including LCSW, LCPC, CRNP, and ARNP providers.In this leadership position, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide a multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Duties
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all programs and services, ensuring quality care and adherence to best practices
- Supervise, mentor, and support clinical staff including therapists, social workers, and behavioral health professionals
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer regulations (e.g., Medicaid, insurance credentialing, and licensing requirements)
- Review, approve, and monitor treatment plans, assessments, and clinical documentation for accuracy and effectiveness
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and program initiatives
- Oversee client intake, service delivery, and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Support credentialing and enrollment processes for clinical staff and organizational services
- Address escalated clinical concerns, ethical issues, and risk management situations
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, referral sources, and stakeholders
- Provide training and ongoing professional development opportunities for clinical team members
Experience
- Proven leadership experience in behavioral health, mental health, or healthcare settings with a strong clinical background
- Active licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent) in good standing
- Extensive knowledge of clinical practices, treatment modalities, and evidence-based interventions
- Experience with Medicaid/insurance credentialing, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
- Strong background in supervision, staff development, and performance management
- Demonstrated ability to manage clinical operations, caseload distribution, and program growth
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational leadership skills
- Ability to oversee documentation standards, audits, and quality assurance processes
- Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration and integrated care models
- Required Qualifications:
- - Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Nursing, Healthcare
- Administration, or related field
- - 5 years of behavioral health experience
- - 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- - MUST have prior experience supervising licensed clinicians (LCSW, LCPC, CRNP, ARNP)
- - MUST have experience overseeing Medicaid documentation, compliance, and audit
- readiness
- - Experience improving documentation compliance rates or successfully passing audits
