Summary
The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for purchasing materials and supplies, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products to support operations.
Qualifications:
- Create, process, and track purchase orders using Sage X3.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, data entry, and basic reporting.
- Strong basic math skills with the ability to calculate quantities, costs, and inventory requirements.
- Ability to identify purchasing trends and plan purchases accordingly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment
- Track orders and communicate with vendors
- Maintain accurate purchasing records
- Analyze inventory usage and purchasing trends
- Support production and operational purchasing needs
- Resolve purchasing discrepancies and delivery issues
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field will also be considered.
- Minimum 1-2 years of purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
