What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beekeeper position at LOSTWOOD HONEY LLC?
Worker will be performing all activities related to beekeeping.
- Worker must have knowledge of all bees stages and how to feed and treat them.
- Worker will make splits.
-Check for weak hives and replace queens.
- Moves beehives weighing around 75 pounds.
- Drive the trucks to the bee locations and put empty boxes on the hives.
-Take the honey off the beehives and extract the honey.
-Barrel the honey into drums.
-Move the beehives with the forklifts and trucks to a stockpile yard at the end of the season.
- Worker needs to have at least three months of experience on the job.
- Worker needs to be able to drive.
-Time for meals and breaks will be provided to the worker.
