Duties
- Set up, program, and operate press brake machines to produce accurate bends according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure precise fabrication
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers to verify dimensions and quality of finished parts
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment, including tooling changes and adjustments for optimal performance
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards
- Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks involving CNC laser cutting, welding, and assembly processes
- Operate forklifts, cranes, hand tools, and other machinery safely within the manufacturing environment to support material handling and fabrication workflows
Experience
- Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and other CNC operations
- Skilled in blueprint reading, GD&T interpretation, and using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Experience with forklift operation, crane handling, and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment is preferred
