What you’ll do
- Lead and supervise a dynamic team to ensure outstanding customer service and operational efficiency.
- Manage food preparation, cooking, and presentation to guarantee quality and consistency.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Utilize Toast systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Train, develop, and mentor staff to enhance their skills in food service management and hospitality.
- Conduct interviews for new hires while fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong background in kitchen management with hands-on cooking experience.
- Demonstrated ability in staff training, development, and team management.
- Familiarity with casual dining, fine dining, or quick service & fast food environments is preferred.
- Experience with shift management and supervising a diverse team in a fast-paced setting is essential.
- Knowledge of catering services, banquet operations, or barista/coffee experience is a plus.
