Maintenance Technician – Lost Mine Mountain Coaster & Mini Golf
Lost Mine Mountain Coaster & Mini Golf is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team!
This position plays an important role in keeping our mountain coaster, mini golf course, grounds, and facilities operating safely and smoothly. We’re looking for someone with mechanical experience who enjoys troubleshooting, working with their hands, and working outdoors.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of the mountain coaster, mini golf course, and related equipment.
- Help ensure the coaster is maintained in accordance with applicable ASTM standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on coaster equipment and other mechanical systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues, repair or replace parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to determine required maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with general building and grounds maintenance.
- Remove fallen trees, debris, and other obstacles that could interfere with safe coaster operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Identify and address maintenance or safety concerns as they arise.
- Learn new equipment, procedures, and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous ride maintenance experience required.
- Mountain coaster maintenance experience strongly preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Comfortable safely operating hand and power tools, including drills, saws, grinders, hoists, and impact wrenches.
- Ability to safely operate a pickup truck, UTV, and forklift. Additional heavy equipment experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop, reach, and perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to stand or work for extended periods and navigate steep or hilly terrain.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Dependable and safety-focused with strong attention to detail.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
