Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Operations Manager to lead and support daily operations for our lawn care, snow removal, and fertilization/spraying services. This role blends leadership, logistics, and fieldwork—ideal for someone who thrives both managing teams and actively working alongside them in outdoor environments.
Operations & Team Management
- Plan, schedule, and oversee daily operations across lawn care, snow removal, and spraying/fertilization services
- Supervise and support field crews, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards
- Recruit, train, and mentor employees; foster a positive, accountable team culture
- Monitor labor hours, job progress, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency
Field Work & Support
- Actively participate in fieldwork as needed, including mowing, trimming, spraying, fertilizing, and snow removal
- Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, skid steers, plow trucks, and sprayers
- Step in to troubleshoot issues on-site and ensure jobs are completed to company standards
Scheduling & Logistics
- Develop and manage daily and seasonal schedules based on weather, workload, and client needs
- Coordinate routing for crews to optimize time and fuel efficiency
- Track materials, inventory, and equipment usage; order supplies as needed
Customer Service & Quality Control
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Conduct site visits and quality checks to maintain service standards
Compliance & Safety
- Enforce safety protocols and proper use of equipment and chemicals
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to pesticide application and environmental safety
- Maintain accurate records for applications, services, and equipment maintenance

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
