Job Summary And Qualifications
As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will fill prescriptions for patients admitted to the hospital. Your typical duties include preparing medicine, stocking supplies, and collecting patient information. - You will be responsible for maintaining medication storage and security as a per regulatory requirements throughout the organization
- You will interact daily with hospital personnel in person and by phone
- You will need to identify and solve problems with pharmacy automation with or without technical support
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Completion of pharmacy technician training program
- Licensure by California State Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacy Technician
- 1yr previous experience as Pharmacy Technician preferred, preferably in an acute care setting
- Successful completion of Technician Certification Exam
- Continued recognition as Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
