Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns with a positive attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and check splitting
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn food preparation basics is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty
