Los Gatos Elite is hiring a Competitive Gymnastics Coach to join our team in Campbell, CA!

Key Details

• Pay: $72,000 - $85,000 DOE meet session pay
• Benefits: 100% employer-paid medical insurance for the employee, Dental and Vision Insurance, PTO, Paid Holidays, and seasonal breaks
• Location: Los Gatos Elite @ West Valley Gymnastics -Campbell, CA
• Schedule: Full-time, typically coaching from 3:30 - 9pm on weekdays and half day on Saturday’s (six-day workweek)

Who You Are: You are an experienced Competitive Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach who is ready to coach at a high level while still growing your own craft. You love working with kids, you think in terms of long ‑ term development, and you thrive in a team environment where coaches support each other.

Other Qualifications Include

• Proven experience coaching competitive gymnastics
• Experience coaching women and children, preferred
• Demonstrated experience coaching in a competitive club setting, ideally through Level 8, regionals (or close to)
• Strong technical knowledge of skills, progressions, and judging criteria from Levels 2 - 8
• Excellent communication skills to communicate clearly with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches
• Embrace a growth mindset and team-first approach
• USAG Professional Member in good standing
• SafeSport certified
• Active Green Light background check clearance
  
  

What You’ll Do: As a High Performance Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach at LGE, you’ll coach athletes from the Compulsory levels through Level 8, helping them build strong basics, safe progressions, and confident routines. You’ll design and run practices, support athletes at competitions, and collaborate with a tight ‑ knit staff to create a training environment where gymnasts feel challenged, supported, and seen. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow professionally through continuing education and mentorship within a respected, nationally known program.

A Typical Day Will Consist Of

• Coach competitive WAG athletes from Compulsory levels through Level 8 to the highest standards of the sport
• Design and implement structured, periodized training plans aligned with USAG guidelines
• Collaborate with the Team Director and fellow coaches on seasonal planning, meet scheduling, and athlete development goals
• Provide individualized feedback and skill progressions for athletes at varying stages of development
• Communicate proactively and professionally with parents regarding athlete progress, schedules, and competition updates
• Assist with USAG meet registration, rotation planning, and competition preparation
• Contribute to a positive, growth-focused team culture for athletes and staff
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development
• You’ll spend most of your time on the floor, moving, spotting, thinking creatively about progressions, and helping athletes move through warm‑ups and event rotations.
