Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the cashier area, dining space, and kitchen as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and assist in retail math tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cashiering or food service is preferred, with knowledge of the food industry.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle peak hours effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
