Metro is seeking Entry Level Police Officers to help protect passengers, employees, and property across one of the nation’s largest transit systems. This is a sworn, armed position focused on safety, service, and community engagement.
What You’ll Earn
- Earn up to $130,499 per year
What You’ll Do
- Patrol transit systems by vehicle, foot, or assigned post
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls
- Enforce laws and Metro policies
- Assist the public and help resolve conflicts
- Investigate incidents and prepare reports
- Work with other law enforcement agencies
- Testify in court when required
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Ability to obtain P.O.S.T. certification
- Ability to pass background, medical, and psychological evaluations
