Role DescriptionThis is an on-campus role, for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director will be responsible for recruiting new members, managing and overseeing programs, conducting seminars, coordinating community volunteering projects, and fostering collaboration within the organization. Day-to-day tasks include leading team meetings, developing event itineraries, liaising with community partners such as Kaplan Prep and Princeton Review, and ensuring the successful implementation of seminars. They will play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the organization and engaging with both students and members of the surrounding community.
Qualifications• UCLA sophomore or junior in a health or natural sciences-oriented discipline • Strong leadership and team management skills• Ability to strategize, plan, and execute effective community outreach initiatives• Organizational and time-management skills• Commitment to the mission of serving the Los Angeles community and fostering scientific literacy
