Title: Major League Performance Nutrition Fellow
Department: Performance Nutrition
Status: Fellow (5-month program)
Location: Los Angeles, CA

- Interviews for our 2026 Fellowship positions will take place February 2026
Duties/Responsibilities
- The fellow will be responsible for helping the performance nutrition department deliver high-quality meals that support the demands of baseball's schedule, competition cycles, and the players' individual dietary needs.
- Other duties as assigned
- Exhibits exceptional attention to detail, high standards of food quality and taste, culinary execution, technique, and presentation.
- Minimum of 1 year’s kitchen experience, preferably in a professional or college team athletic setting
- Graduate of a culinary institute and nutrition certification a plus.
- Strong knowledge of a wide variety of cuisines
- Ability to adapt recipes to balance quality, flavor and nutrient density.
- Strong communication abilities, with employees, staff and players.
- Problem-solving capabilities and willingness to thrive
- Collaborative attitude with an emphasis on excellent customer service.
- Comfortable working extended hours for multiple meal services, including weekends
- Knowledge of safety and infection control procedures, as well as safe food preparation
- Knowledge of food allergies and intolerances, with experience preparing allergen-free meals
- Current student with a graduation date of December 2025/January 2026 OR within one year post graduation
- Graduated from undergrad or graduate school, with no more than a 2-year gap between undergraduate graduation and the start of graduate school
- Must be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 5-month program from March to August 2026
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Passionate about working for a professional sports team
- Proactive and out of the box thinking
