As a Payroll Clerk II, you will:
β Process complex payroll transactions and specialized payroll assignments
β Review, compute, and maintain payroll and timekeeping records
β Interpret multiple pay provisions, rules, and regulations
β Resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure timely, accurate employee compensation
β Support critical payroll operations that keep County services running smoothly

You may qualify if you have experience in payroll or timekeeping at a level comparable to one of the following:
β At least 1 year of experience processing payroll in a centralized payroll operation.
β At least 2 years of experience reviewing, recording, and maintaining payroll documents or employee time records within a payroll system.
β At least 3 years of experience computing, recording, and processing payroll or timekeeping transactions, including applying payroll rules, regulations, and procedures.
Ideal candidates have experience:
β’ Processing payroll and maintaining payroll records
β’ Reviewing and verifying employee time records
β’ Researching and resolving payroll discrepancies
β’ Interpreting payroll policies, rules, and regulations
β’ Managing payroll-related inquiries, projects, or assignments with minimal supervision
