What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Shipping & Receiving Representative/CSR position at Los Angeles Cold Storage?
Los Angeles Cold Storage Company seeks a CSR to join the team!
The candidate will interface directly with multiple customers including inter-departments throughout the workday via phone and email. This is a full time in-office position.
Experience and Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbal and written excellent telephone manner
- Capability to answer incoming phone calls and email for the majority of each day in a timely manner
- Ability to multi-task and quickly reset priorities as needed depending on incoming workflow
- Posses excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to continuously be accurate and precise throughout the workday
- Experience working in a PRW environment along with knowledge of a Warehouse Management System and/or similar industry a plus
- Solid understanding of business math
- PC Proficiency: Experience/Knowledge working with Outlook, Word & Excel
Joe Duties/Responsibilities
- Cross-Training for Shipping and Receiving office positions
- Verifying and posting of receiving/shipping documents
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to instructions or concerns including problem resolution
- Order taking and order entry via phone and email
