Position Summary
We are seeking energetic, customer-focused Servers who can provide an outstanding dining experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guests have a memorable visit.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly; provide menus and answer questions about dishes.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system; enter orders in a timely manner.
Serve food and drinks with professionalism and knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation style.
Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any needs or concerns.
Present checks, process payments, and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
Refill beverages, clear dishes, and reset tables for the next guests.
Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and health regulations; follow proper food handling procedures.
Uphold Los Amigos’ standards for hospitality, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
Handle special requests, allergies, and accommodations with care.
Promote daily specials and upsell menu items when appropriate.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a server or in a hospitality role preferred; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong memory for orders and details; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for handling payments and giving correct change.
Positive attitude, reliable, and punctual; flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of Mexican cuisine and ingredients is a plus.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-30 pounds as needed.
Food Handler’s Certification or ServSafe certification (if required by local regulations).
Working Hours and Schedule
Shifts typically include lunch, dinner, and weekend availability.
Part-time and full-time opportunities available.
