SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of administrative duties supporting the school district’s relationship with Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation. Communicates with school district staff about educational needs, impact of Foundation programs and opportunities for Foundation assistance. Answers questions from staff and the community about the Foundation’s work in the school district. Assists with projects, programs and events related to LAPS Foundation’s work with the school district. Keeps accurate records and files. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as a liaison for LAPS Foundation information within the school district
- Responds to inquiries about Foundation issues and information
- Enters and maintains data related to LAPS Foundation’s projects and programs within the school district
- Organizes information related to LAPS Foundation support of staff
- Publicizes information to staff about Foundation support
- Provides updates to school district administrators about Foundation related issues
- Answers questions and provides information related to school district purchasing procedures and Foundation procurement
- Attends meetings related to Foundation projects and programs
- Develops a basic understanding of school district business operations and directs people to the appropriate staff within the school district to assist with issues that arise related to Foundation requests and funding
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalency
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Demonstrated ability to utilize technology for record keeping and communicating
- Demonstrated proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrated proficiency in Google Suite
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to gather information as directed
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and community.
