What You Will Do
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in science and engineering on behalf of national security. You will work with the Engineering Division and the Modern Manufacturing Methodologies Group, a world-leading team in modern manufacturing techniques, risk analysis/management, and systems engineering. In this position, you will be a part of a cross-disciplinary collaboration working on a groundbreaking R&D project to create solutions to complex problems. In this position, you will enhance current capabilities for artificial intelligence (AI) analysis through the validation of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) models.

What You Need
Minimum Job Requirement:
- An understanding of CAD modeling to support the creation of visual language models (VLMs) that will make corrective suggestions to designers
- Demonstrated skills in a software/programming language either in support AI or MBSE tools
- The ability to work and communicate effectively in a diverse team environment
- Self-motivated and independent researcher who has demonstrated experience as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to obtain a Q clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
